    This is a good spot! I ordered the fry chicken and the wife got the stew chicken. The chicken was tender and seasoned. The batter on the chicken was crispy. I would definitely order it again...

    I tried my wife's stew chicken and it was good as well.

    They give you nice size portions so you may have some leftovers.

    I would recommend this spot

    Don't be alarmed when you walk in, I don't think they got robbed. They just don't have any tables or chairs. I didn't ask what was the deal, they have a large open space with just carpet runners leading you to the cashier to place your order.

    Everyone was friendly enough. Even when I asked for an extra fork and hot sauce, everyone was prompt and happy to help me.

    I ordered the medium jerk chicken meal with rice and peas and coleslaw. The portion was generous. The chicken was mildly spiced for my taste but was done very well. The rice and coleslaw were delicious. The hot sauce was very tasty and not overly spicy.

    They also offered daily specials. Today's was some sort of fish and vegetables.

    Eventhough, we had to eat in the car, I think we will be back and add this spot to our rotation.

    Twice as nice isn't too nice. The jerk chicken was nice but the coleslaw wasn't nice. It's was very plain and flavourless. The rice is alright but it could use a lot more gravy than whats given. For the price you pay, you can find other places with slightly better flavour.

    Went there today to buy food. Bought the cowfoot on plain rice, drove home and went to eat it only to find it was spoiled. I've always had good experiences here but this today was very concerning.

    The food here is amazing. Some of the best in Scarborough probably. All my stars are for the food and the owner who is super helpful and accommodating.

    The front of house staff and absolutely terrible and should not be allowed to serve people food. They're rude and just throw things together. They don't care what you ordered they will sub it for something if they're out. Don't bother placing a catering order either because it will just be ignored, late and then you'll get yelled at for not accepting something you didn't order.

    The store owner happened to be around and resolve my issue but this wasn't the first time I've had a problem with the service here.
